Can the squirrelmail webserver different then email server?
I have 2 seperate servers for email (postfix Ubuntu 5.1) and web server (apache Ubuntu 5.1) What I would like to do is install squirrelmail on the web server and have it check the mail on the email server. Is this even possible? Or should I just install another webserver on the email server and then install squirrelmail?

Yes, it's possible. When you install Squirrelmail, you create a file called config.php where you can specify the smtp and imap server. I don't know if this is possible with POP3.
I edited that file accordingly, adn thought it would work. I created a symlink to the squirrelmail directory, but doesnt look like that is going to be good enough, I get to the squirrelmail page, but tons of php and object not found errors, so I thought I'd ask to see if that was even an option.
