Default message_size_limit

I have the same problem. I have set my /etc/postfix/ "message_size_limit=30960000" and did a postfix reload, and when I do a "postconf -d" it still shows the default value of "message_size_limit=10240000"

Is the default value picked up from some other config file? What should I do to cause the "postconf -d" to show my 30960000?
