Default ispconfig3 and firewall

Hi,
I am a beginner with ispconfig and hope someone can help me. When I enable the firewall in the panel and I remove the ssh port 22 in the list of authorized ports (for example), I noticed that you could still connect to this port with ssh console using this port.
My question is this: why the firewall doesn't block ports that are not allowed in the panel.
Thanks for your help

Default

Port 22 is a restricted port which gets never blocked to ensure that nobody locks himself out of his server. If you dont want to use ssh, then stop the ssh server or change the ssh port in the shd_config file.
