Default System Updates Monitoring stuck

Hey there, for the past few days my monitoring area has been stuck with:

Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
The following NEW packages will be installed:
e2fsprogs libss2
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Inst libss2 (1.42-1ubuntu2 Ubuntu:12.04/precise [amd64])
Conf libss2 (1.42-1ubuntu2 Ubuntu:12.04/precise [amd64])
Inst e2fsprogs (1.42-1ubuntu2 Ubuntu:12.04/precise [amd64])
Conf e2fsprogs (1.42-1ubuntu2 Ubuntu:12.04/precise [amd64])
When they are already installed and up to date. Today I had another one and I ran the system update from the System tab and it went away but these two stayed.
