Default Server reccomendation

I have been using the squeeze perfect server.

This server has been great. My only problems are associated with updating freshclam and webmail.

I like the debian as a server even though I have spent more time using SUSE and OpenSuse.

Opensuse seems to have the most up to date tutorial but could possibly have more bloat.

My vps may be on the fritz so there may be a new load/upgrade or other in my future.

I have an older verison of IPSconfig so at the very least I am do for an upgrade.

Can I fix the email issues via simple upgrade?
If I decide to build another server which one should I try and will the email be any easier to administer.

I would not give up on Debian just yet on the Clamav front. They are getting better and better at getting updates for Clamav. I think the transition from 0.97.6 to 0.97.7 took about one and one half weeks.

I don't know what your sources.list looks like, but maybe try this one (you may want to replace "us" with your country code:

## Debian Stable ##
# Stable
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian squeeze-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ squeeze-updates main

# Security Updates http://www.debian.org/security/
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main contrib non-free
Speculation, I think Clamav and Debian will better sync in the future...

1.5 weeks sucks. I can reload the whole server in 1.5 hours. Something here is desperately wrong with clamV and/or the disappearing webmail.

All other upgrades work without a problem too. apt-get just works and ClamV is a prick. Do I need to blow away the whole deal or what?

I would rather get the dam virus than deal with the ClamV upgrade.

What is the preferred replacement/administration method for clamV and webmail
