Default new install - PHP-CGI 100% CPU

Hi

I have a brand new install based on "Perfect Server Debian 6".

PHP Version:
PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze15 with Suhosin-Patch (cli) (built: Mar 4 2013 14:05:25)
Copyright (c) 1997-2009 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2010 Zend Technologies
with XCache v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 2005-2009, by mOo
with Suhosin v0.9.32.1, Copyright (c) 2007-2010, by SektionEins GmbH

I Installed drupal (first and only site) with fastCGI
I realized that the installation was somewhat slow, but was ok.
As soon as I do anything with this install (call pages, etc) it's terribly slow and php-cgi goes to 100% causing the page to return a 500 Error sometimes.

There is nothing in the website's or general error.log

Can someone give me a hint where to look / how to fix this?

thanks

Andre
