Default Jailkit: Enabling commands to run and access to directories

I'd like to use the ISPConfig Jailkit feature and enable extra software to work. In particular, I'd like users to be able to ssh onto the server and issue git commands that work with full access to repositories.

I may want to allow other commands to work as well with access to certain directories.

How do I allow for various commands to run and have access to prescribed directories in a Jailkit shell?
