Default suPHP in ISPConfig2 Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS

I really need suPHP in ISPConfig2 Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS, but the guides out there are outdated and have broken my server too many times. I could also go for a workaround with the Apache directives.
I need help, really really need help. Thank you.
