GlusterFS multinode mirror and stripe

Morning,

I want to find out if it's possible to create a glusterfs array as follows:
node1a -> node2a
node1b -> node2b

numbers are stripped and letters are mirrored. so what I will end up with are two sets of machines node1a-z will be stripped and then mirrored to node2a-z.

Hope this makes sense, and I would try this out myself but don't have the hardware yet.
