I noticed a few posts that said it can be done, since ispconfig doesn't really do administration...
Do you install webmin first, then configure ispconfig or do you do all the configurations of ispconfig and then install webmin? Does any one have any experience? and can webmin auto detect features already installed on the server because I know you can do installations from the webmin gui. but Can it already detect if a package was already installed.

It does not matter if you install webmin before or after the ispconfig install. Please be aware that webmin can conflict with ispconfig, do do not manage any services like email or apache vhosts with webmin that are managed by ispconfig.
Got it thx... My only reason was so I can do updates and such and set certain schedules.. Also, I noticed that some configurations in the guide for ubuntu multiserver did not work properly, example: installing quota and remounting... I did that through webmin.. and some other features that were a bit confusing..
