Setup a mail server postfix in ubuntu

Dear falko sir,
i have visited the URL that you have sent me.
i want to setup just simple mail server which will be running through postfix in ubuntu.
and i will use MS outlook express as mail clients.
pls. the configuration you have suggested is with mysql, saslauthd, and courier etc. are they all necessary to setup such simple mail server with fewer clients ?

This is a very simple setup already. I suggest you install all the software becuae you will run into all kinds of problems if you try to leave out some parts.
