Hello folks,
I have followed the perfect server guide for Squeeze and ISPConfig 3 using OpenVZ. I have the physical server with only *VServer-Server* service setup.
Then I have a virtual container / machine for family stuff and one for my home business which I will eventually try to get online. Both virtual machines are running ISPConfig 3 as well. So basically:
Physical Server
/..................\
Virtual Server 1.................Virtual Server 2
I was planning on following Falko's tutorial here:
http://www.howtoforge.com/installing...debian-squeeze
I would want fewer countries blocked on a possible business server than the personal. If I install geo_ip on the three servers is each one separate or do they inherit rules from the physical (parent if you will) server?
Like if I block China on the physical server do I then still have to block it on the virtual machines since all web traffic on the virtual machines in essence comes through the physical server?
Thanks as always for your time,
Scott
