Default SSL with squirrelmail Ubuntu 12.04 with apache2

Hoping to save people some time: I followed the Perfect Setup for Ubuntu LTS 12.04. Everything worked perfectly, but I wanted https access to squirrelmail to protect users' privacy. SSL worked for the ISPConfig portal, but not for squirrelmail or the main page of the server. Squirrelmail DID work without SSL.

This is easy to fix: Uncomment the last 9 lines of

/etc/apache2/conf.d/squirrelmail.conf

and restart apache.

I kept thinking I had a configuration problem with SSL generally because I was getting the ssl_error_rx_record_too_long message and couldn't find any errors. Hope this helps someone.
