after adding a new pci network card in the desktop the fedora linux is not detecting the pci network card the link led glows so how to check for the new added hardware please provide solution

what the logs are saying about this? did you check `dmesg`?

also the output of `lspci -kv` and `ifconfig -a` would be nice too.
