Co-Domain SSL

I am trying to get an SSL for a co-domain, but the CSR is only doing it for the main domain. What do I need to do for the co-domain to work?

A csr is alwaysonly for the main domain, if you have a multidomain ssl cert, then you can enter the additional domains in the oder interface of the ssl authority.

Thats what I thought. Since I moved the main domain to another server I may just reconfigure the co-domain to be the main domain instead.
