ISPConfig not seeing external IP
Hello,
I have an HP Server that I have ISPConfig 3 setup on with CentOS 5.8, the install and setup has been pretty smooth so far, but my only snag is I can not access the ISPConfig login screen using the external IP, only the local... Any suggestions?
Thanks

I got it figured out, but now I am having a new issue...
I can send mail OUT from the server, but I can not receive mail IN...
i created a mail user jgriggs@suprtech.com and logged into webmail, sent an email to my hotmail account, then went to hotmail and sent one back to my webmail account, but I never recveived it, I checked the maillog file and I cant see anything that looks amiss. of cousrse im not sure what to look for.
Thanks

Please check if the MX record of your domain is pointing to the correct server. You can check that as follows:
Code:
dig mx yourdomain.com
Also, does your router forward port 25 to your ISPConfig server?
It is also possible that your provider blocks port 25, so you should check.

I'm logged in the server machine via VNC (The Server is in Louisiana and I am in Tennessee)
If I open up the web browser on the server and go to https://184.191.56.79:8080 isp config opens fine, but if I try to go to it here locally, the page times out.
Any ideas what I screwed up?
Thanks Juston

I cannot open it either, so I guess it's some kind of firewall in your data center that blocks certain ports.
