Default block the user at evry second instead of minutes

Hello,
I have use the fail2ban,that works perfectly but one problem is that it is block the Ip address after waiting some time like 5 minutes. But i want to block the attack user immediatly when it see like there is unauthanticated IP address in log.So at where i need to do changes.I am using the asterisk. So please specify in which file and at where need to change the time or anything else.
Thanks in Advance.
