Default Database Mirror

Hi,

My system id running a multiserver setup on Debian Lenny using version 3.0.4.1.

I would like to have a mirror running of my database server.
Installed a server as described in the multiserver setup guide.
In my CP I selected the "is a mirror of".
Created a new database and it was only created on the first database server and not on the mirror.

Is it not possible to do this? And if it is - how do I get all existing databases sync with the mirror? (as it is already possible with the dns)

There is most likely a mysql permission problem so that ispconfig slave can not connect to the mysql database of the master. Try to connect with the mysql command from the slave to the master by using the master connection details from the ispconfig config.inc.php file.

There are several technologies available for that. E.g. mysql master/master replication or a mysql cluster. Thereare tutorials on these topics available here at howtoforge.
