UPS for ISPConfig server - special considerations

System:
- ISPConfig 3.0.3.3 ( as per "perfect server"-tutorial + Webmin & roundcube changes)
- Debian squeeze

Now I got (cheap) UPS and planned now to use with server1 (just to get rid of potential HD failures). For auto-shutdown I googled best option as "nut" and "nut-cgi"

If someone has installed / learmed (hard way) already, I would appriciate your findings for both. I would assume that at least nut-cgi has to be in some www-client?

Finally had some time to look into this.

Now Trust LCD 1300VA (via COM) and existing Server1 (Debian Squeeze / ISPConfig3 and Webmin working like a dream. (Webmin installed long time back as per older tutorial....

nut core-part was installed/configurated as "standalone" as per earlier totorial link (if you use, look also comments as done for earlier verson...)

To answer my question about nut-cgi Google found for me easy way with webmin beta-module "nutd" (i.e. no need for www-client / site in ISPConfig)
