Dedicated Linux Server Performance Tuning

Hi Friends,

I built a Linux Web server with the following Hardware & Software.

Hardware:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
RAM - 16GB DDR3 1333Mhz
HDD - 2x500GB SATA with RAID Level1

and my Broadband Speed is 10-20 Mbps Conection.

Software :

Centos 5.5 x86_64
Apache 2.2 , Mysql 5.x and ISPConfig3 , Pure-ftp, postfix etc..

This is completely dedicated for webserver and i'ld like to tune Apache and Mysql to Handle more than 200k Pageviews per day.

Can u please help me out. How can i allocate full network speed to webserver and increasing the Max connections in Apache & Mysql.

And i'ld like to run wordpress powered website.

Thanks for your information and i've a small concern. How much Memory can we allocate to PHP Scripts (example i've total 16GB RAM and can i allocate 4GB RAM for PHP scripts and 2GB RAM for Mysql-server)?

If we can do this can u please guide me how to?

And is there any 1-click php scripts installer for ISPConfig3?

AFAIK, there's no limit. You can set the PHP memory in your php.ini (I think it's /etc/php.ini on CentOS). Restart Apache afterwards.

Now my dedicated server is working fine. and how to check and optimize apache and mysql for decreasing the load time and to complete more requests.

And how to free up the unused memory automatically.

Please help me to use my dedicated server for more performance.

How to setup smtp server along with webserver with a same ip in single server?

my wordpress is not working properly with ispconfig3. any wordpress updates / install it's asking the ftp details and not successful.

please help me in this. for your reference i'm attaching the vhost file and renamed my website name as "example"com.
