Default Setting ISPConfig3 with SSL (As 1st login/Admin page)

Hey there,

I hope this has not been covered.

I have trolled the forum, but cannot quite see the solution.

I am trying to set the initial login page for ISPConfig3 as https.

As it is using port 8080 I am having trouble redirecting it to use :443 to point to index.php.

A tad worried about sending the admin login via plaintext.

Have paid and downloaded the Manual, but have missed how to do this somehow.

(Installed beautifully, BTW... Nice product)

TYIA,

regards,

Bryce

Download the ispconfig 3 tar.gz on your server and extract it. Then run the update.php script which is in the install folder and select to reconfigure services when the updater asks you. The updater will then ask if the ssl certificate for ispconfig shall be recreated, choose yes here and the ispconfig 3 login will be ssl encrypted.
