Default Shell user: passwd <> ispconfig database

Is a ispconfig shell user able to use passwd on shell and autoupdate ispconfig database?

I setup a test server with a test shell account. When trying to change the password with passwd i am asked for "Current Kerberos password". Do not know this password, so i think this is not possible?

The passwords for shell users have to be changed in ispconfig.
