Default 3.0.3 - backup site not working?

Hi,

I'd like to test this new functionality, so I set a daily backup for one of my website, but I got nothing...

Checked in "backup" folder (webxx/backup), but there is nothing.

Where are the logs? at what time the backup is executed?

Make sure that you have sudo and zip installed.

Great, Thanks, I didn't have sudo.

But it's pitty that there is any information about the backup option. No error message, nothing and I have to open a topic for this...

This can be set in the server settings under System.

More information about the backup option is available in the manual.

Thumbs down

That's what I thought... And the manual is paid-for. No that much, but it's paid for, and it's like to make ISPCONFIG paid-for if we want to know how to use correctly.

Hum... I set /home/BACKUP in the server settings like you said.

And it changed all directories in 000-apps.vhost :
/var/www with /home/

so I got this :

Code:
Starting web server: apache2Warning: DocumentRoot [/home/apps] does not exist
Syntax error on line 21 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-apps.vhost:
can't get fastcgi file info: /home/php-fcgi-scripts/apps/.php-fcgi-starter(/home/php-fcgi-scripts/apps/.php-fcgi-starter), errno: 2
 failed!

it's always start like this before becoming much expansive.

And the problem is not here, the problem is I have to buy something to get the information from a "free" open source project.
This manual should only be an "extra" not a necessary thing.

There are many other Open Source Config Panel available on the web. Change - if you found a better one.

You requires that you get immediately a free answer here in the forum. But what have you brought for {???} - is my answer!
