Question Move the DB Server Software on a new server

Hi guys,

we are updating our servers infrastructure with a new server and we would like to move the MYSQL server in a new server.

Is it possible manage this MYSQL server software with the ISP Config 2?

In ISPConfig 2, all services like web, db and email have to be on the same server. so you can not manage a external db server with it.

If you want to manage a external db server, then better use ispconfig 3 which supports the management of multiple servers from one controlpanel.
