Webmail login impossible with over 10000 messages on server

Hello,

one of my users complained that he could no longer log into his webmail account. When I examined his mail folder I found that it contained more than ten thousand messages.

I gave him the advice to erase the messages from the server using pop3. All other mail accounts on this server work well, so he should be able to access his new mails again once his folder emptied.

Is there any method to manage such amount of messages through webmail (we are using uebimiao)?

Am I right considering that the problem will be solved once his mail folder emptied?

I´ve used squirrel and roundcube with more than 17k mails, with no problems at all, have you tried another webmail???

Also check the max memory in php.ini from ispconfig, and the max_execution_time, since the webmail depends from the ispconfig ini
