Can't send email from new Cento OS 5.5 install

Hi ...

I just set up a new server. It has been colocated and everything is fine but I can't send emails.

Here is what my error log shows:

Sorry that I am do not know very much about email config.

I got rid of dovecot and compiled courier-imap

Now I have courier-imap and sendmail servers on.

Seems to be working fine ... but I can receive mail.

My server is a colocation setup so I really don't know my fully qualified domain name FQDN

I am running a DNS server and I should be able to use jpre.net at my host for receiving mail. I just don't know how to do so.

What is the best way to configure this.

Again ... I can now send email, but my hostname is comming up as "pcmg.pri" which is not even in my hosts file (don't know where that came from).

Yikes ... I really need help.

What's in your main.cf?

Also, make sure that your MX record points to your server. You can check that with

dig mx yourdomain.com
