Default How to force pure-ftpd to disconnect clients after x hour idle

Hello all,

At this moment I login to pure-ftpd with filezilla and stay logged in forever. Example: I log in at 23:00 and go to bed, the next morning ( after 8 hours inactivity ) I am still logged in.

I want to change this behaviour ! After, for example, 1 hour inactivity you get logged out and can only reconnect by submitting username and password again

How do I do this ?

You may of considered reading the PureFTPd documentation at http://download.pureftpd.org/pub/pure-ftpd/doc/README

Quote:
- '-I <timeout>': Change the maximum idle time. The timeout is in minutes and defaults to 15 minutes. Modern FTP clients are trying to fool timeouts
by sending fake commands at regular interval. We disconnect these clients
when they are idle for twice (because they are active anyway) the normal
timeout.

Next time, consider reading the documentation.
