File Recovery w Knoppix Partitions not Seen
I am trying to recover some files off a failed Fedora 12 install. When I run Knoppix 6.2 the only partition I see is /boot. I have 2 40Gb IDE drives:

I have tried using the commands found in Hack #75 Knoppix Hacks and got the following error.

root@Microknoppix:/home/knoppix# sudo mdadm --assemble --auto=yes /dev/md0 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sda1
mdadm: cannot open device /dev/sdb1: Device or resource busy
mdadm: /dev/sdb1 has no superblock - assembly aborted
root@Microknoppix:/home/knoppix# sudo mdadm --assemble --auto=yes /dev/md0 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1
mdadm: cannot open device /dev/sdb1: Device or resource busy

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
