Wont create databases....

hello all, here is the problem that i'm currently having. I just installed ispconfig 3 onto ubuntu 8.04 LTS.

Everything is working, except the job queue doesn't actually do anything. if i run /usr/local/ispconfig/server/server.sh from the terminal prompt as sudo it clears the job queue, then i look at root's crontab and they ispconfig scripts are there... here is what the syslog shows

Apr 7 15:05:01 matthewlittle CRON[9954]: User account has expired
Apr 7 15:05:01 matthewlittle /USR/SBIN/CRON[9956]: (getmail) CMD (/usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/run-getmail.sh > /dev/null 2>> /var/log/ispconfig/cron.log)
Apr 7 15:06:01 matthewlittle CRON[9960]: User account has expired

any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks everyone!

is the cronjobs being run from root?

what is shown in /var/log/ispconfig/cron.log?
