By following this tutorial
http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-us...-ubuntu9.04-P5

Doing login logout on same time
mail.log as follow

Mar 6 11:09:51 ubuntu authdaemond: password matches successfully
Mar 6 11:09:51 ubuntu imapd: LOGIN, user=sales@eultimateinc.com, ip=[::1], port=[48605], protocol=IMAP
Mar 6 11:09:51 ubuntu imapd: LOGOUT, user=sales@eultimateinc.com, ip=[::1], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=30, sent=238, time=0

This happened after installing plugins in squirrmail

ISPConfig uses Linux system users and not virtual users for email. You can use any pop3 or imap webmail client with ispconfig 2.

You posted here in the ispconfig 2 forum, ispconfig 2 does not support virtual users. If you want to use virtual users, use ispconfig 3.

Ok, did not realised that you dont use ispconfig 2 as the forum you used is for ispconfig only. Moved your post now to the correct forum now.

Regarding your question, you should take a look at roundcube.
