Why do you want the DVD? The only benefit is, that it covers all language packs....

btw it was not that hard (3 clicks and some quick reading) to get there...
I'd say you can expect the next subrelease (9.x) within the next month and the next major release aroun 10/2010 when continuing the past plans in a linear way:
