ISPconfig3 DNS manual setup

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where ISPconfig hides bind & its settings? Or if it doesn't use bind what does it use?

Bind is not supported for now, it's planned for future relase. For now you can use MyDNS. See the Perfect Guides.

So for instance if I want to create a DNS zone or record, if I just add them manually to the database it'll automatically update the DNS?

answered my own question yes it does work when you just change the records in the mysql database, much easier than having my script rewrite the zone file and then reload bind xD
