Default problems receiving mails

hello .. i had some problems with the domain.com/webmail link but i managed to make a mail.domain.com alias for the webmail, now i see the users, i can login corectly, but now i have another problem .....

all the needed ports are opened corectly, so no port forwarding problems


also ... i send e-mails from this address i m trying to send with an yahoo account, and i can send , but i can t receive on neither one of my e-mail accounts created

Your problem is a dns problem and not a problem with your email system. Please make sure that you have a dns MX record for this domain that points to the hostname of your server and that the hostname of your server exists in dns and that it is reachble from the internet.

all i did was creating both NS ns1.domain.ro. ns2.domain.ro. i enablesd the website mail.domain.ro , of course i changed the alias directory directly to squirrelmail folder, and now it s ok thanks anyway for the advice, the problem is that for the 2 older domains i have everything is ok, only for the last domain it wasn t working.

now it s working fine .. i really dont understand where the problem was ...
