Default Whats this ???

Hi all,

Was just wondering what this email is......

Quote:
WARNING: service ftp not running (server: ramjet.baktim.com, port: 20)!
Message generated at March 28, 2006, 8:30.
I started getting it from root sending to postmaster.....

it looks to be pritty obvious the FTP service is not running right.....
but what if the ftp service is running
Could this be because port 20 isnt running it thinks ftp service isnt running...
The mistry continues hehe.... sounds to like a mistry noval haha....

If anyone would like to unravel the mistry that again would be aprechiated.

regards
brainz

This message is generated by the ISPConfig monitoring. You seem to have a monitoring rule called ftp for port 20.
You should change this: ftp runs on port 21.

falko,

Thankyou understand this entirely will remove port 20 from ispconfig monitoring.

Actually i did add a entry for both port 21 and port 20... but port 20 will be removed from monitoring.
