Post ispconfig second server for DNS

hi,

I have a working ispconfig server, now i want a second server that can connect to the first server. I used the manual http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-se...nny-ispconfig3 on my dabian server.

Now i want that when i make a new site on the two servers the dns record are made so i can use the servers as name servers for the new domain.

I hope somwone undersand the question an can help me.

If you want the second server for dns only, you have to install just mydns on it without ispconfig and configure mydns to connect to the mysql database on the master server. A more fault tolerant setup will be to use mysql replication.

If you want to use the second server for hosting websites too, then install ispconfig on it in expert mode and choose that you like to join the master server.
