Please take a look in the mail log. Did you install your system as described in the perfect setup guide for ispconfig 3?

The mysql connection limit is too low in your setup. Edit the mysql my.cnf file and set or edit these variables in the mysqld:

max_connections = 500
max_user_connections = 500

Then restart mysql.

And you are sure that the getmail package is installed properly. as ispconfig uses getmail to fetch the emails and not fetchmail which is a different application.

not sure, I think all was setup correctly, and I have tried both POP and IMAP with nothing being delivered in to the mail box indicated. Emails sent to the address from outside and inside get delivered correctly.

when I try to run the master.sh file I get this:

Error: configuration file /etc/getmail/*.conf does not exist

but I can see the the correct setup in the ISPConfig web interface.

Strange, something else I can provide to get this resolved? Thank you!

Drd

Also:
root@oscarserver:/home/administrator# /usr/bin/getmail
Error: Default config/data dir "/root/.getmail/" does not exist - create or specify alternate directory with --getmaildir option

did a full reinstall again, with step by step for 8.10 and ISPC3, all seems to be working now:

Small comment, on step 13 it seems to reinstall apparmor as part of some package, so I did the removal procedure again.

Thank you!

I'm getting the following error when i try to execute getmail.

Quote:
aragorn:/var/log # run-getmail.sh
ImportError: No module named getmailcore
For that reason i suppose that mails from external servers are not delivered.

I'm on Opensuse 11.1 Perfect Server (ISPConfig 3) install.

getmail was installed as described in the how to.

For opensuse 11.1 users you need to execute:

Quote:
cp -r /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages /usr/lib/python2.6/
