Default smtp postfix and PAM+mysql doesn't work

Hi to all again, I've installed also an email server reading "PostfixCompleteVirtualMailSystemHowTo" on help.ubuntu.com, using PAM and Mysql authentication.
The POP3 server works great and I'm very proud of this two-weeks-kick-self-work :-) but the SMTP makes me creazy.
Is there any Linux-guru could help me? Thanks! :-) Enrico
