Delegate proxy and mail relay in squid

HI all i am new to linux.We had a proxy server (delegate proxy) in my office it crashed.How can i configure that.I configured squid here but.our clients have to access their mails.our mail server is in rediff with pop -110,and smtp 587 as port numbers.can i relay our clients to these ports in squid.

Why don't your clients connect directly to the mail server?

Yes now clients are directly connected to mail server.But we want to manage the clients.In delegate proxy there is an option for it.Do any one know how to configure delegate proxy.someone told me about ( www.delegate.org).I am newbie to linux so i dont know how to configure that.Could someone help me please.
