installed vmware server, now what?

Here's how I do it:
My every VM has a nat network setup. This way every machine recieves network settings from VMWare Server's DHCP server and is connected to the Internet by default. Every VM has it's own internal ip address that I can access at any time (for example to guest VM's ssh server).

If I install the VMware server onto the same machine as my MySQL server, and I create my webserver and emailserver and FTPserver in three different guest vm's, Will they be able to connect to the MySQL server?

Right now, I have all that installed into one server machine, but for security's sake, I would to isolate each server, but I don't want to install MySQL onto each guest OS.

Sorry if I am being such a bother, but I am enjoying picking your expertise in this..........

That's possible as long as Your MySQL server will accept remote connections.
