invoicing system

hello all again,
I have been doing some reading and I am not sure if I am understanding it correctly. I want the invoicing system to automatically send an e-mail invoice to each client and reseller at the end of each month. is this what the invoicing system is meant to do? also I can manually produce invoices but I can not see away of e-mailing them..
