Default Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail -Ubuntu 8.04

FIrst off let me say that this is a fantastic HowTo and makes a slick working system. I've come from a Slackware box running exim so this system is a breeze.

Anyway, I have a couple of issues that I can't seem to nail down. The first issue is when I tell Evolution to "Use Secure Connection" I get the following error in my logs.

Quote:
Jun 6 09:52:59 coffee pop3d: Connection, ip=[::ffff:12.153.195.164]
Jun 6 09:52:59 coffee pop3d: couriertls: accept: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number
Jun 6 09:52:59 coffee pop3d: Disconnected, ip=[::ffff:12.153.195.164]
Jun 6 09:53:00 coffee pop3d: Connection, ip=[::ffff:12.153.195.164]
Jun 6 09:53:00 coffee pop3d: LOGIN, user=tony@minneapolis-moline.com, ip=[::ffff:12.153.195.164], port=[47059]
Jun 6 09:53:00 coffee pop3d: LOGOUT, user=tony@minneapolis-moline.com, ip=[::ffff:12.153.195.164], port=[47059], top=0, retr=0, rcvd=24, sent=321, time=0
The second issue started yesterday. The system has been working great up until then. When I try to send an email from my workstation I get a relay error. The log reads:

Quote:
June 6 10:13:24 coffee postfix/smtpd[13593]: connect from bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]
Jun 6 10:13:25 coffee postfix/smtpd[13593]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]: 554 5.7.1 <tonkyman1979@yahoo.com>: Relay access denied; from=<tony@minneapolis-moline.com> to=<tonkyman1979@yahoo.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<linuxbox.vectortransport.com>
Jun 6 10:13:25 coffee postfix/smtpd[13593]: disconnect from bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]
It allows relay from my home computer and from other office computer that are on the same network but not from my workstation.

How does the relay function work in this setup?? I have always used pop-before-smtp but this system doesn't seem to need that. Can someone explain why?

Thanks for the great howto and all your help.

Tony
