Default How to create email starting with a number

Hi,

i can't create email address starting with a number ( Ex : 5even.5@... ), ISPConfig refuse this operation. My old email server (imail server IPSwitch) on NT allowded that. Do you know if there is a solution ?

As far as i know email addresses must always start with a character, not a number. Does anybody knows what is specified in the RFC?

use alias set email fiveeven.5@.... then add what ever alias you want 5even.5@...
