billing system for ispconfig

I've had a play around with the invoicing system on ispconfig but I was wondering if anyone knows how to implement some more advanced features like bill the user each year automatic. Does code need to be written to do this or is there some type of billing system software which can use ispconfig?

As far as I know, there is no billing software for ISPConfig available yet.

OK, but is anyone creating invoices in a smarter way than using the Invoice section of ispconfig? I remember reading that someone had hundreds of sites running via ispconfig, surely setups like that have something different running?
