Default SSL Create/Save/Delete Script

Hi, this is my first post to these forums so excuse me if I am in the wrong place.

I've been running my business on a ISPConfig backend for a few months not with no issues and have decided to make better use of the API.

My question is, is there an API function to manage SSL certificates?

I've looked through as many files as I possibly could have and cant see how the certificates are created.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
