Default Cannot Reach Index Page For My Website

I am not able to get to the default index page for my website but I can get to the default Amazon Linux AMI Test Page when I use "http://mydomain.com"

I am able to get to the default index page for my website if I use "http://mydomain.com/mydomain.com/web/"

I am using ISPConfig 3.0.46

My OS is Linux 3.2.34-55.46.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Nov 20 10:06:15 UTC 2012

I believe the issue might be with my httpd.conf file. The following is the content of that file:

[root@www ec2-user]# grep -v ^# /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf | grep -v ^$

Add the IP address of the server in ISPConfig under System > server IP, then edit the website and ensure that the IP is selected and not *. Then wait one minute and test again.

I have checked my configuration and they are as you have suggested but that doesn't seem to work. Any other suggestions are greatly welcome.

Please post the output of:

ls -la /etc/httpd/conf/sites-enabled/

This is a bit weird as you can not access a site like this when the apache config files from ispconfig are included into the apache configuration as this access is blocked then. But according to the aapceh file that you posted, files from sites-enabled folder are included:

Include /etc/httpd/conf/sites-enabled/

There is no website config file. Either the website is not set to active in ispconfig (please check that) or the config jobs were not executed (take a look at the jobqueue in the ispconfig monitor to see if there are any jobs listed).

The website was not active...I fixed that, thank you for that.

But the problem is still the same.

I looked at the jobqueue and it is empty...I imagine that is not a good thing.

What do you recommend?

Now that I activated my website in ispconfig I cannot get to the default index page for my website at all:

I used to be able to see it using "http://mydomain.com/mydomain.com/web/"

And I cannot see it using http://mydomain.com

I just want to make sure but should my DocumentRoot be /var/www or /var/www/html
