username or password invalid on email client (multiserver setup ispconfig 3)

HI there,

I just installed the mutiserver setup on debian6, everything is working fine apart from the mailserver.
I create an email account and when I try to setup this email account on thunderbird or whatever email client the password doesnt work... everything else is recognized by the client.

Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?

sorry for my late replay, the problem was the firewall
the rules were configured wrong.
