Default How To Integrate ClamAV Into PureFTPd For Virus Scanning On Debian Squeeze

Hi there

My ClamAV log is full of WARNING: lstat() failed on: (filename)...
I guess this is a permission problem (I tried Google)?

BTW, is it safe to use this on shared hosting or will it kill my CPU? I guess scanning a lot of small files will increase CPU usage a lot?

Thank you for clarifications.

Did you check if the mentioned files exist and what their permissions are?

It depends. I think you will have to watch this for a while.

Hi falko

They do exist since they are the files I uploaded through FTP (and the path is correct).
Permissions are normal, meaning 644 for files, 755 for folders and assigned to the FTP user.

@CPU: OK, I'll see.

Thank you.
