Single server or multi server setup?

Hi all,

I have a VMWare ESXi server with 24GB RAM, Quad core CPU and a RAID1 array.

I have the option to install all the servers I want on it.

Would I benefit from using a ISPConfig3 multiserver setup, per this guide?

Or, should I just install a single big server on the ESXi?

I just want to know if there would be any performance/management advantage of splitting them up?

Good question. The benefit of splitting up the services is that if one server fails, not all services are gone. But as you would host all VMs on one physical host, I think you can as well run all services in one big VM.
