Default Special screen copies

Hello,

Like most newbies in Linux I passed through a few Howto's, and I was surprised by this one:
http://www.howtoforge.com/the-perfec....04-lucid-lynx

How can the author catch screen copies of an OS that is not yet installed ? I am very interested as I do want to keep copies of my future installations.

Thanks.
