I'm running ISPconfig on a system and it uses mydns apparently. So I did an mydnsexport -t, copied the output to the clipboard, saved it in a file on another system where I had installed mydns and attempted to import it via
mydns -t /tmp/t where t is a file that I created by copying the clipboard into it.
Here's the file:
# Created by "mydnsexport -t"
# Sat Oct 31 14:11:52 2009
Note, it looks like the first line wrapped.
However when I do the import I get:
mydns-1.1.0$ mydnsimport -t /tmp/t -u mydns -p -r
mydnsimport: /tmp/t: 1 zones
mydnsimport: /tmp/t:6: 18.104.22.168.in-addr.arpa: no matching zone for PTR record
mydnsimport: /tmp/t:10: 22.214.171.124.in-addr.arpa: no matching zone for PTR record
mydnsimport: /tmp/t:11: 126.96.36.199.in-addr.arpa: no matching zone for PTR record
And the mydnsexport shows no data.
So what did I do wrong here?
